Infrastructure Management

The global urban population in currently around 3.9bn people and is expected to grow to around 6.3bn by 2050. There is an apparent gap in demand-supply of the number of professionals in infrastructure development sector. The demand for qualitative and quantitative urban infrastructure facilities, with good maintenance practices is the need of the hour to deliver quality and purposeful smart infrastructure. Keeping in view of the demand for Technical infrastructure professionals, on approval with AICTE, ESCI SPGS has designed a two year PGDM-IM for engineers offering specializations in Civil, Power, Telecom and Transportation sectors. PGDM-IM is specially designed to take up the challenges in the growing industrial scenario from design to completion of a project and maintenance of the project. The aim of the programme is to groom today's engineers into tomorrow's Professional TECHNO - MANAGERS.

Infrastructure Management is concerned with assessing the need for and bringing into being, operating, and maintaining assets that are at the core of the society. It deals with the processes necessary for planning and development of the new infrastructure in a cost effective manner and in maintaining and operating mature infrastructure projects. This course is designed for engineering graduates who intend to pursue a career in infrastructure management.
